The purpose of the Knox unflavored gelatin is to make the jello firm if you are adding a fruit-based product with a high sugar content (e.g. cranberry sauce) to the flavored jello.Where can I find some fruit jello recipes that use flavored jello and Knox unflavored gelatin?

STRAWBERRY FINGER JELLO





2 pkgs (6 oz) strawberry jello


4 C boiling water


2 envelopes unflavored gelatin


1/2 C cold water


1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen sliced strawberries





Dissolve strawberry jello in hot water. Add gelatin, which has been softened in cold. water. Stir in strawberries, until well separated. Pour into 9 X 12 inch glass dish and refrigerate. When firm, cut into squares.





Other flavors of jello and canned fruit (thoroughly drained) may be used.
