Lemon~Lime Ginger Ale
handful of grapes
1 apple, cored and sliced
陆 inch fresh ginger (less if you find the taste too strong)
1/2 lime
1/4 lemon
sparkling mineral water

Remove the grapes from the stem. Juice the apple and ginger together, then juice the rest of the fruit. Pour the juice in a large glass and fill to the top with sparkling water and serve with ice.

in a juicer throw in pieces of mango, pineapple, apple, a banana and a sprig of celery. Throw in a couple of strawberries if you like. But don't leave the banana out because it might taste too sour. Add some distilled water, no sugar and voila! Blend away with some ice.Anyone have some great healthy nutritious fruit smoothy recipes???
FRUIT SMOOTHIE
1 C. fresh strawberries, sliced and hulled
20 oz. pineapple chunks in juice, drained
1 medium banana, peeled and chopped
1 C. skim milk
8 oz. fat-free strawberry yogurt
1/4 C. honey
1 tsp. lime juice
In a food processor or blender, combine strawberries, pineapple chunks, bananas, milk, yogurt, honey, and lime juice. Process until smooth. Pour into glasses. Makes 6 servings.
Strawberry Orange Banana Smoothie
1-1/2 C. frozen unsweetened whole strawberries
1 banana, peeled and cut up
1/2 C. orange (or apple) juice
1/2 C. nonfat vanilla or other flavor yogurt (not frozen)
1/2 C. small ice cubes
2 Tbs. protein powder (optional)
In a blender, whirl together all ingredients until smooth and thick. Serve immediately.
Makes about 3 C.
Four-Berry Smoothies
1-1/2 cups fat-free milk
1/2 cup frozen blackberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen unsweetened raspberries
1/2 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries
2 tablespoons lemonade concentrate
1 tablespoon sugar (OR Splenda to equal 1 tbsp.)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a blender or food processor, combine all of the ingredients. Cover and process until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Serves 2.
