Mine is simple.
I cut up some strawberries, bananas, and apples - put them all in a bowl with some grapes and then dip them in vanilla yogurt. Yum ... now I am hungry! What is your favorite fruit salad recipes?
The mixture of fruits doesn't really matter, what really makes the difference is the syrup it sits in. This is usually vanilla flavoured sugar and fruit juice - but my favourite recepie replaces this syrup with Ginger Beer. it reallly adds a zing to the whole thing and an element of hotness to balance the cold sweetness of the fruit. Recommend you try this. What is your favorite fruit salad recipes?
I have to say, my favorite is, grapefruit, oranges, pineapple, strawberries, green (granny smith, for the tart ness) apples. Just let them soak in their own juices. It's great with a fruit dip or alone
in my family im the one that everyone asks to make the fruit salad. its great!!! here is what i do:
just mix all of the following in a large bowl:
2 cans of fruit cocktail (drain one of the cans and use juice in other)
1 can of pineapple cubed(drain juice)
6 bananas cut up
2 green apples peeled
1 red apple peeled
2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
add all of the ingredients cover and put in refrigerator.
taste best when cold.
ENJOY!!!!!!!!
Cut up cantaloupe, bananas, strawberries, apples, and maybe grapes. Top it off with a big scoop of cottage cheese, sprinkle with about a teaspoon of sunflower seeds (peeled of course), and then grab some honey and pour on top as much as you want.
OR you can try this one
Cut up and peeled oranges, cut up cantaloupe, watermelon, cucumbers, jicama, and pinneaple. Squeeze two limes add salt and chili powder on top.. DELICIOUS!
But I recommend the first one for breakfast, it gives me incredible energy and it is just great.
