I use only frozen fruit because of where I live.
16-18 oz glass
5 cubes of pineapple
3 slices of peaches
5 strawberries
fill the rest with blueberries
microwave for 40 seconds then add 4 tsp of ground chia seeds, 2 tbs of black strap molasses (for iron),
tbs of wheat germ, 1tsp of spirullina, 25 grms of ISOPURE orange protein powder and then i just cover the berries with hemp milk or almond. 1 gram of Acia berry powder.
Then I blend with hand mixer til mixed. What are some good homemade fruit/protein smoothie recipes that will give me energy, strength and taste good??
People like different things. My Dad, however, was having trouble eating foods including meat, so we developed a high protein smooth. We chose whey protein powder over soy, but it is your choice. You do not have to use pasturized eggs if you don't want to, but I only use pasturized for my Dad since he is at risk if he got salmonella. The chances, though, of getting salmonella poisoning with an egg is pretty small however.
