Fruit Kutchen Recipes?

Plum Streusel Kuchen





2 cups all-purpose flour


1/4 cup sugar


2 tsp baking powder


2 tbsp shortening


1 egg


1 cup heavy whipping cream


6 fresh plums, halved and sliced





topping:


2/3 cup all-purpose flour


2/3 cup sugar


2 tbsp cold butter


2 tbsp heavy whipping cream





In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder; cut in shortening until mixture resembles fine crumbs. In another bowl, beat the egg and cream; add to crumb mixture, tossing gently with a fork until mixture forms a ball.


Press dough into a greased 9x13in baking dish. Arrange plums over crust.


For topping, in a bowl, combine flour and sugar; cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Add cream, mixing gently with a fork until moist crumbs form. Sprinkle over plums. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until lightly browned.

APPLE KUCHEN


1 box yellow cake mix


1 stick butter or margarine


1/2 cup shredded coconut


1 can apple filling


1 pt. sour cream


1 egg





Mix cake mix, butter, coconut till crumbly. Press into 9x13'; cake Pan


Bake at 35F 10 min. Pour apples over top and mix sour cream and egg well. Pour over apples. BAKE 350 for 1 hour.

3 C All-Purpose Flour -- sifted


3 Tsp Baking Powder


1/2 C Margarine -- softened


1 1/2 C Sugar


1 Whole Egg


1/3 C Milk

1/2 C Margarine -- cold


1/2 C Brown Sugar


1/2 C Granulated Sugar


1 C All-Purpose Flour -- sifted


1 tsp Vanilla


Cinnamon -- to taste





Apples





Mix first six ingredients till soft dough forms. Dump into greased jelly


roll pan, With buttered hands spread till covers pan evenly. Peel and


slice apples to cover dough. Use lots.


For topping: mix remaining ingredients and crumble on top. Bake at 350


for 45 minutes.
This is going to be such a useless answer but,





My mother used to make one where it was white cake base and peaches with like a sweet sour cream drizzle over the fruit.





I'm truly sorry I can't think of the recipe as I'm well in my 20s now, but peach was so lovely for Kutchen.
