Does anyone know of any good and easy pasta recipes to serve for babyshowers? and any fruit platters as well?

the expecting mother is having a girl...so anything pink wise will be great.Does anyone know of any good and easy pasta recipes to serve for babyshowers? and any fruit platters as well?
You could make Penne Pasta and Pasta Salad. I'm not sure what other things you are planning on having at the baby shower but you could also just do finger foods along with the pasta dishes. Finger foods such as: egg rolls, samosas, chicken wings, etc.

Fruit Platters: you can make fruit kabobs. Cut up the fruit into bite size pieces and spear onto a skewer. You could use fruits such as: apples, oranges, pineapple, banana, strawberry, kiwis and grapes.

You could make a fruit platter with fruit dip. You could arrange the fruit platter in separate groups and leave room in the center for a bowl for fruit dip (such as yogurt).

For pink - you could make cupcakes and decorate them with pink frosting and make cookies with pink sprinkles (or you could buy them). You could aslo get passionberry duo cake.

maybe strawberries and a fountain of chocolate as well (strawberries may not be pink, but close enough)Does anyone know of any good and easy pasta recipes to serve for babyshowers? and any fruit platters as well?
Congratulations to the expectant mommy! And little girls are such fun! I've given a few showers, and this is a menu I've served:

Chicken tenders (marinated chicken breast tenders in Italian Dressing overnight and serve grilled with a peanut sauce and bbq sauce.

Pasta Salad (1 box rotelle pasta, cooked al dente according to package instructions; 1 chub dry salami, cut into cubes; 1 container crumbled feta cheese; 1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped; 1 bunch green onions, chopped; 1 can sliced olives, drained; 1 large bottle Berensteins Cheese Fantastico Salad Dressing (either the fat free or regular); mix the above and refrigerate overnight. Stir before serving.

Spinach Salad: Baby spinach, stems removed and slightly torn; 10 slices platter bacon, chopped, sauteed and drained; 1 can mandarin oranges, drained; 1 cup candied pecans or walnuts; 1 container feta or crumbled goat cheese; 1 bottle good french dressing. Mix all the ingrediants except dressing. When dressing this salad, use the amount you feel comfortable with.

Fruit platter: Fresh pineapple, kiwi, strawberries, orange sections, raspberries, peaches (if they are in season), with a marshmallow cream dipping sauce. Or, jumbo strawberries in a serving bowl with dishes of brown sugar and sour cream to dip in.

Hot Rolls with sweet butter

Cheese Platter: Brie with mushrooms, Cambozola, Spanish Manchega, and a good Gouda; serve with artisan crackers and sliced baguette.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

A variety of sodas, sparkling waters, juices and a ';punch'; served in a punch bowl with a homemade ice ring (I use sparkling water flavored with orange or lemon, lemon slices and lemon leaves)
